A page about both features would be way too long, so I'd say it's a good idea to have one page for costumes and another one for palette swaps. Palette swaps apply a filter to the whole sprite, while costumes manually changes colors of a set part of the sprite. Support: Palette swaps and costumes actually refer to completely different things. This is pretty much a part 2 of the above conversation, but. CrazyNaut ( talk) 19:42, J(UTC) If that's the matter, then I'll go ahead and move the page's name, even if it seems simple. "Recolored costumes" is a weird name to give it, I'd like to assume the only reason they called it that is because this is an update to the previous costumes. And that's what it was called in both the blog and the vlog, so if it's the correct name then it's the correct name. I don't see how costumes is an "empty name", they're not officially referred to as alternate costumes and it's not like there's anything else on the wiki that it can be confused for. But just calling it "Costumes" feels empty, should it be "Recolored costumes" or go directly with "Alternate costumes"? - BYLL EL WYLL 19:18, J(UTC) So if the term has become deprecated, then, we should ditch it. SmashWiki already had this issue as well and just calls them "Alternate costumes". Based on this video (in fact, based on a dev blog from 2016), it looks like the official name for these is "costumes", so is it time to ditch the outdated dojo's naming convention?
